Minuteman Indivisible members worked very hard in 2020 to elect progressive candidates, and we are now reaping rewards for that effort. We've learned, though, that we cannot let those efforts go dormant in off years. We may not put in as many hours as we did in 2020, but we have to continue contacting voters and promoting causes and candidates now to make our big efforts in 2022 and 2024 even more successful.
Here are some great things you can do now to help pass the For the People Act and
protect our democracy
Call voters in key states to ask that they make sure their U.S. Senators know they support doing whatever is necessary, like ending the filibuster, to pass the For the People Act. These are easy calls to make because the phone lists are of known supporters.

Tell YouTube to Permanently Ban Trump
Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube suspended Trump's accounts, removing his access to platforms for spreading lies and inciting violence-- and it worked!
The amount of disinformation about the election decreased dramatically after Trump was banned. Twitter's ban is permanent. Now Facebook's Oversight Board has agreed that removing Trump from Facebook and Instagram was the right move. The only major platform left to permanently ban Trump is YouTube. YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki has said that Trump would be allowed to return to the video platform when "the risk of violence decreases." The problem is, every time Trump is given an audience, the risk of violence rises exponentially.Click hereto send a message to YouTube: It's time to permanently ban Trump and his dangerous, hateful rhetoric.
Join the Mass Dems Organizing Hub every Satuday at 3 PM where people can come (weekly) and connect with other activists.
We will open a virtual space weekly where activists can:
1. Bring your own project - block off time to help in the company of other people. Reminder calls, fundraising, write your newsletter.
2. Come to volunteer for Democratic candidates and causes. We will have projects available.
3. Connect with others. Request a breakout room and invite others to join.
4. Join a popup training. Most weeks we have a 30 minute session beginning at about 3:05pm.
We are encouraging people to make a commitment of supporting Democratic causes on a regular basis now, whether it is a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly commitment. Many people volunteered in some way or other during the presidential cycle. It is important for activists to continue to stay engaged now and in the future.
