On July 4, Members of Minuteman Indivisible went to the Old North Bridge and listened to the Declaration of Independence given by the National Park Service.
There was a salute:
And we shared our ice cream!

The Marches, Rallies and Events team coordinates visible protests and rallies here in Lexington and in Boston. We participated in the Patriot’s Day Lexington Parade, staged the “Show your Taxes” Tax Day Rally in Lexington, and coordinated Minuteman Indivisible participation in the larger Boston protests including the Climate March, the Science March and the March for truth. The team has also coordinated several meetings with our elected Massachusetts Members of Congress and their staff to put our agenda in front of them, and to show and offer our support. Our group has met with staff from Senators Markey and Warren and Representative Clark’s offices. Mark Your Calendar: March for Science April 22, 2017 12 noon – 5:00 pm Boston Common The March for Science champions publicly-funded and publicly-communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, non-partisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest. This group is inclusive of all individuals and types of science! To register and for information, click here. Some inspiration for today!
