It's August. It's been hot. And activists have been heating it up too--making phone calls, texting, and writing letters and postcards.
September is just around the corner. It will cool down, right? Not in the fight for democracy!! Activities are increasing as we speak, and there are many ways to get involved now and in the fall.
Turn PA Blue volunteers have written over 1 million postcards to voters in the last 2 years.
Now, we’re working to win PA’s local elections in 2021 and register more Democrats to vote ahead of nationally-watched Senate and Presidential races.
And, for the first time, bulk postcard packets are available for local committees and campaigns to use for your own voter outreach projects.
Keep Virginia Democratic
Help write 1.5 million letters to voters
We’ve teamed up with Vote Forward to write 1.5 million letters to Virginia votersencouraging them to get out to vote this November. Right now, volunteers are writing and stockpiling letters to put in the mail on Saturday, September 18. Volunteers have already written nearly 480,000 letters--adopt 20 letters this week and help push us over 500,000!
We're raising grassroots dollars for 10 House of Delegates races and Virginia's Democratic gubernatorial race. Polling shows these races are close, and if Trump-backed GOP candidates are able to win in Virginia this year, they'll use the same anti-science, anti-democracy, conspiracy-fueled playbook in 2022. We cannot let Republican candidates win this year. Here's how you can contribute:

Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube suspended Trump's accounts, removing his access to platforms for spreading lies and inciting violence-- and it worked!
The amount of disinformation about the election decreased dramatically after Trump was banned. Twitter's ban is permanent. Now Facebook's Oversight Board has agreed that removing Trump from Facebook and Instagram was the right move. The only major platform left to permanently ban Trump is YouTube. YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki has said that Trump would be allowed to return to the video platform when "the risk of violence decreases." The problem is, every time Trump is given an audience, the risk of violence rises exponentially.Click hereto send a message to YouTube: It's time to permanently ban Trump and his dangerous, hateful rhetoric.
